How many routes are there?
Forest of the North is not your regular date a doki type mod, homever you”ll be able to choose a girl you like the most and by doing so she’ll appear in the story more often. Except for Sayori, you won’t be able to pick her (sorry for all the Sayori fans out there).
Are there multiple endings?
Yes.
There are three different main endings. Although if we also count the fact that in each playthrough you can choose a different doki, then there would be nine different final outcomes.
Is the main character a self insert?
It depends.
You may call him by your name or give him his own. Although I called him as „You” in the main page, I also gave him some backstory, so he’ll be fine as his own character as well. The decision is left up to you.
